Job Description The Marketing Activation Senior Director will play a key role in leading the direction of the Marketing Activation practice and key client work. They must strive to obtain a deep understanding of our client's business and be able to build strong client relationships that will enable you to become a trusted advisor to our clients. This role require a mixture of client consulting, leading a small group of high performance players and creating scalable and repeatable consulting best practices to be leveraged across the organisation. Day to Day will include but not be limited to: n Partner with internal Client Partners to define overall vision, objective, and rhythm for marketing activation and content workstreams n Lead and shape the delivery of marketing activation and content workstreams across clients n Partner with internal Project Managers to set and hit milestones for projects n Work with client campaign/program/project managers to understand their business needs/goals and deliver best practice support n Drive requirements gathering meetings with clients n Provide marketing activation strategy oversight and strategic support to clients n Collaborate with internal/external marketing partners to understand and disseminate implementation specifications relevant to marketing cloud technology n Lead digital marketing initiatives that bring together various marketing groups around best practices and shared leanings including, but not limited to, the following areas: o Lead discovery and alignment sessions that will drive to consensus in data-driven marketing o An understanding of how to analyse behavioural and attitudinal data, and leveraging that data, to better understand and improve customer engagement with client sites and campaigns o Experience of Multivariate testing (i.e. A/B split testing) to drive site/email optimisation o On the job client training of best practices for data-driven digital marketing Skills & qualifications we're looking for: n BA or BS in a quantitative or marketing related field n 10+ years of industry experience in digital marketing, interactive agency, consulting n Hands-on experience with content management, Digital Asset Management, content production and other marketing related technologies including campaign management, digital analytics, etc. n Ability to tell a story supported by data to senior clients and stakeholders n Ability communicate between technical and non-technical resources n Attention to detail, results oriented, customer focused, team player, leader n Ability to deal with ambiguity, strong problem solving skills, exercise sound business judgment n Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to align with current business needs n Focused; a self-starter with experience working in a very fast paced environment n Excellent written and oral communication skills n Strong problem assessment/analytical skills n Strong understanding of marketing cloud technologies including Adobe, Google, Oracle and Salesforce n Strong client relationship skills are required with experience presenting information to large groups is highly desirable.
