Chubb is recruiting a proven B2B Field Sales Manager for an Area Sales Manager - Service role to manage a team of Field Sales Consultants across our Luton, Thames Valley and South Coast branches. The role objectives are to lead and manage a team of field sales people within a defined area to maximise sales across new and existing customers, set and execute an area sales plan to meet financial objectives and achieve targets for recurring revenue orders and sales in line with the branch and regional sales plans including Fire Risk Assessment and Training, grow contract base by having a clear sales plan to cross sell and secure a greater share of wallet from existing customers, to win new customers and to select, develop and retain a talented sales team by training and coaching them, recognising and rewarding them and maintaining good team morale at all times. You will need to possess a successful track record in Business to Business Sales Management gained either in the Fire & Security Industry or another B2B Service Sector, having managed a field sales team with a combined £multi-million annual budget focusing on maintenance and service revenues. We are seeking an Area Sales Manager who has previously improved levels of activity and hence profitability of their sales teams and who has an accurate understanding of their sales teams` figures and their area`s financial performance. You will also possess experience of dealing with senior directors including reporting and reviewing performance metrics. You must be able to express ideas effectively to establish yourself as a credible, impactful and motivating leader with the skills and relentless energy to sales coach, mentor, discipline and drive this new business focused sales team. In order to be able to navigate our complex and demanding business, you will also need to possess a high level of IT literacy. This is a high profile opportunity within Chubb Fire & Security and requires a proven B2B Field Sales Manager from a corporate environment, who has the commercial awareness, people management abilities, resilience, ambition and strength of character to deliver results in a KPI driven, demanding environment.
