Finance Manager - Birmingham We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Finance Manager to join a large successful group of companies. The primary focus of the role as Finance Manager will be to support the Finance Director on the Property arm of the business, as this is a relatively new part of the business we are looking for someone who relishes a challenge, is willing to learn and is keen to assist the Finance Director in putting the necessary procedures and processes in place. This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to grow and develop to become an integral part of the business. Role - Finance Manager Experience - Advanced Degree in Accounting or similar, Experience within a Senior Finance role, leadership skills and experience, strong attention to detail, you will either be part qualified (at least AAT) or be working towards a recognised accounting qualification Salary - £28-30k DOE Location -Birmingham, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Kings Heath, Knowle, Redditch, Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Coleshill, Worcestershire. Benefits - 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme (July 2017), Continued Professional Development, Social outings, Staff discounts, Progression Opportunities Responsibilities ü Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions ü Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants ü Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary ü Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement ü Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company ü Research and analyse financial reports and market trends ü Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making ü Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports ü Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings ü Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes ü Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company ü Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
