The aim of our nursery is to provide a secure, safe, and caring environment that provides stimulating and challenging opportunities for children to grow and develop into happy, confident and responsible individuals.
We encourage the children to co-operate with each other and with the practitioners, enabling them to broaden their experiences of relationships, so they can cope with a wider range of situations and be able to think and express themselves.
We encourage the children to question and apply themselves to tasks in order for them to reach their full learning potential.
The practitioners in the nursery work in partnership with the parents to meet the needs of the children, both individually and as a group. We want children to feel safe and happy in the absence of their parents; to recognise the practitioners as a source of authority, help and friendship and to be able to share with their parents afterwards the new learning experiences they participated in, during their day at the nursery.
Parents are the first educators of their young children. Our aim is to support your essential work, not to replace it. Together we can provide a secure foundation upon which later stages of your child’s social, emotional and intellectual development can be built.
