Location: Scotland (Ideally Aberdeenshire)

Territory Manager - Manufacturing

Division: Scientific Solutions

We offer scientific solutions based on innovative products and services that anticipate the evolving needs and exceed the expectations of professionals from Industrial and Life Science segments. Industrial solutions range from materials science microscopes and industrial videoscopes to non-destructive testing technology and x-ray analyzers. As a leading supplier of Life Science microscope systems for professional use, our microscopy solutions are an integral part of scientific practice in the fields of biology and medicine.

Your Responsibilities:

  • This post is responsible for the direct sales and promotion of the company Industrial product portfolio comprising of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Analytical Instrumentation (ANI) and Industrial Microscopy on their territory (Scotland). The role involves demonstrating industrial equipment, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing after sales support.
  • All aspects of managing a sales territory
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Co-ordinating sales projects
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Recording of activity in company CRM system
  • Attending exhibitions, workshops and educational meetings.
  • Work across a wide variety of environments including high end research in academia and the - UK Manufacturing quality assurance and R+D facilities within a number of industries including; Automotive and Aerospace
  • Reporting to the National Sales Manager

Your Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a scientific and /or engineering environment
  • A higher-level education in science or engineering would be an advantage
  • A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
  • Applicants should ideally be located in Scotland.
  • Previous working experience with RVI, NDT, XRF or Microscopy is desirable
