We are actively recruiting a Corporate Account Director for the Northeast. This role can be based in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL. Job Skills/Requirements SUMMARY: The Corporate Account Director, Market Access, is responsible for working with Payers, both commercial and government, Specialty Pharmacies, Home Health companies, and Specialty Distributors to obtain appropriate product access and increase product market share. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Manage all aspects of sales/marketing activity with targeted market access accounts. These activities will include but not be limited to formulary consideration for all US WorldMeds products, as well as, to vertically integrate overall corporate and brand awareness across the market access customers organizational structure. Work independently and with cross functional teams to develop and implement plans to assure the accomplishment of the key US WorldMeds strategic goals. Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement contracts to gain optimal access and market share for the brands. Lead the development and cross-functional implementation of key targeted product pull and push through campaigns. Work directly with and/or through cross functional teams with the payers and specialty channel customers to develop and implement programs where the potential and probability of success are greatest to support both immediate and long-term US WorldMeds business goals. Identify and work to improve commercial and government access issues across pharmacy and medical benefit designs. Strong understanding of Specialty pharmacy and specialty distribution business relationships. Interacts routinely with commercial plan and state government medical directors, pharmacy directors, and trade, as well as specialty pharmacy, specialty distributor, and home care company owners, presidents, VPs (clinical, sales) and their departments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare and implement a focused, comprehensive and prioritized annual business plan based on targets, potential return, and competitive environment to optimize accomplishments of US WorldMeds brand team strategic objectives. Research customers business situation and discover needs and objectives Anticipate potential trends, changes to market conditions and areas of opportunity and incorporate into the annual business plan. Deliver clinical and financial based value propositions to targeted commercial and state Medicaid account and Specialty Channel customers. Negotiate contracts and monitor compliance with payers, specialty pharmacies, home health care companies and specialty distributors. Coordinate, implement and follow-through on all account contract agreements. Coordinate and integrate field sales support for market access programs. Lead the development and cross-functional implementation of pull through and push through campaigns. Monitor progress and assure goal attainment. Train sales force on current products access to enable them to address customer issues effectively and maximize pull through. Work in cross functional teams involving Sales, Marketing and Medical on key accounts. Work with cross functional teams to improve and/or maintain access for products. Develop and implement mutually beneficial initiatives with targeted customers. Organize and participate in meetings, exhibits and conventions, and to create business opportunities and to establish sound relations with our customer base. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required A minimum of 6 to 8 years industry experience. Additional minimum of 2 to 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred. Sales management experience preferred Previous track record of success within the managed market segment supporting Specialty Products highly preferred Experience with Specialty Channel customers preferred Demonstrated ability to lead and work successfully with cross functional teams. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, clinical and business acumen.
