Project Manager in retail shopfitting Base Central London £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Plus £15,000 performance bonus Job type: Permanent, full-time CeX – in case you didn’t know - is a fast growing international retail and exchange company with over 345 stores in the UK and another 162 spread over ten countries including the USA, Australia, Mexico and mainland Europe. We are now looking to create a Design & Build team of superheros in the UK to fast track CeX into the future. As part of the team you will be responsible for creating CeX stores working closely with our partners as well as developing exciting and innovative design briefs to allow CeX to evolves. You will work in collaboration with our international Design teams in Madrid & Mumbai so expect travel and new experiences. To be part of the team you will have a demonstrable recent track record in retail project management, excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills, the ability to think logically and communicate your thoughts to your team and partners. You’ll need to be a creative problem-solver with the ability to make decisions using your own initiative. The ability to fly and or make yourself invisible would be an advantage as would superhuman strength and the ability to stop time as deadlines approach (just checking you’re still reading this!). Great attention to detail is a must in this role, as are good communication and negotiation skills, experience of budget control and tendering (£4,000,000 annual spend) and the ability to bond well with others as a team player.. Some technical stuff: 5+ recent years’ in retail project management Experience on site with sound knowledge in dealing with contractor related issues Experience in construction detailing Basic understanding of AutoCAD Good IT skills especially Google Docs, Word & Excel Have achieved one or more of the following: MCIOB - Member of CIOB MAPM - Member of the Association for Project Management MRICS - Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors BIFM - British Institute of Facility Management Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or Building Surveying.
